旅美左投陳偉殷台北時間11日上午在主場先發，迎戰來訪的波士頓紅襪隊（Boston Red Sox），陳偉殷在這場比賽投5局，被敲出7支安打、只送出1次保送，也送出5次三振、失2分，拿下暌違1個月的勝投，這也是陳偉殷個人本季的第2場勝投。
陳偉殷第2局出現小亂流，被敲出2支安打，不過靠著隊友中外野手瓊斯（Adam Jones）、左外野手史奈德（Travis Snider）接力演出精彩守備，讓紅襪連2名跑者都在二壘被觸殺，陳偉殷最後面對貝茲（Mookie Betts），被敲出中外野飛球，金鶯中外野手瓊斯再演出美技，幫助陳偉殷力保不失。
近來在陳偉殷先發時總是靜悄悄的金鶯打線，今天在2局下半就有所斬獲，4棒戴維斯（Chris Davis）在2局下半上場就率先突襲偷點，點出一壘安打，隨後5棒戴門?楊（Delmon Young）擊出三壘滾地球，三壘手選擇傳二壘封殺跑者，戴門?楊上一壘，6棒史奈德擊出滾地球被刺殺在一壘前，但一壘跑者戴門?楊趁機上二壘，形成2人出局二壘有人局面。接著7棒J.J.哈迪（J.J. Hardy）敲出二壘打先送回第1分，8棒富雷荷提（Ryan Flaherty）再補上一壘安打搶下第2分。

不過陳偉殷並沒有因此投得更順，3局上半又再遭遇危機。陳偉殷在順利解決頭兩位打者後，被紅襪明星二壘手派卓亞（Dustin Pedroia）敲出安打，又被第2棒霍特（Brock Holt）補上帶有1分打點的二壘安打，不過陳偉殷接下來就回穩，順利拿到第3個出局數，將傷害降到最低。
在陳偉殷丟分後，金鶯打線立刻又有所回應。3局下半先頭打者馬恰多（Manny Machado）上場便擊出二壘安打，第2棒帕瑞迪斯（Jimmy Paredes）擊出二壘滾地球出局，但護送跑者馬恰多上三壘，第3棒瓊斯在三壘有人的狀況下敲出中外野方向一壘安打，將馬恰多送回本壘得分，再將比數拉開到2分差。
陳偉殷在4、5兩局都沒再讓對手得分，金鶯打線在4、5兩局也都沒有分數進帳，比賽打到中後半段的第6局，戰局才又有變化。

6局上半，陳偉殷續投，但一上場便被1棒派卓亞擊出二壘安打，2棒霍特隨後又補上右外野一壘安打，紅襪跑者攻上一、三壘，金鶯總教練隨即將陳偉殷換下，換上杭特中繼，杭特先三振紅襪第3棒拉米瑞茲（Hanley Ramirez），面對4棒拿波里（Mike Napoli）被敲出游擊滾地球，金鶯準備策動雙殺，但在二壘手傳向一壘時卻發生失誤，讓紅襪三壘跑者回本壘得到第2分，而這分則記在陳偉殷的帳上。所幸接下來杭特順利守成，沒讓紅襪再拿下分數，6上結束金鶯還以3比2領先，陳偉殷也獲得勝投候選人資格。

6局下金鶯打線再攻下2分，將領先擴大為3分，7、8、9局雙方都再沒分數進帳，金鶯順利拿下這場比賽的勝利，而陳偉殷也順利拿下本季第2場勝投。

這場比賽過後，陳偉殷本季戰績來到2勝4敗、自責分率則微升到3.21。
